LIGHT AND TOUGH: OUR PHASE 30 WHEELS

Open the curtains for our Phase wheels! These high-end carbon wheels mean serious business and allow you to squeeze every last bit of performance out of every ride. They are constructed to be as light
as possible while still tough enough to take a beating. With only 1.160g per set, our Phase XC VONOA wheels have set a new benchmark.

From super light weight XC to seriously tough enduro usage, the Phase wheels take every challenge with ease and will catapult you agilely over the trails.

Like all our wheels, the Phase wheels are approved for e-bike use without restrictions. The rim tape is fitted and a tubeless kit is included in the box - ready to go!

The Rim

The best carbon rims we have ever built.

A modern inner width of 30mm, super impact-resistant outer shape and an highly
sophisticated carbon layup. Thanks to the flat rim profile, these hookless rims generate a
ton of grip when combined with modern MTB tires.

We believe, that there is the perfect wheel for every riding style and follow the concept,
low weight in the front, high durability in the back. This is why we have developed
three versions of the Phase rim: light, base and strong. While the rim profile stays
the same, the wall thickness changes. For example, if you are giving it all on rough enduro
tracks, we would recommend a Phase base front wheel combined with a Phase strong back wheel.

As with all our NEWMEN carbon rims, we also grant a lifetime 50% crash replacement on the
Phase 30 Lineup - even for second or third owners.

The Spokes

VONOA or classic steel? With Phase wheels you get to choose.

Yepp, you can get these wheels with VONOA spokes. It doesn´t get much lighter: 2,8g per spoke.
In total, we are able to save 40% weight while being 30% stiffer compared to conventional
spokes. This allows us to build the Phase wheels with only 24 spokes, creating the perfect balance
between stiffness and comfort. At the same time, VONOA spokes are just as easy to replace
and service as conventional spokes.

As impressive as the VONOA spokes are, of course we have only selected the best steel spokes
for our Phase wheels. Using high-end Sapim spokes in different diameters according to the
intended use. These are spokes are spokes you can rely on.

The Hub

Reliable, light and silent.

Three pawls, a newly designed tooth profile and the large diameter of the freewheel are
working perfectly together to give you a smooth and silent ride.
More material at the critical points enhances security and durability. We are so convinced
of our new FADE hub generation that we have approved all FADE MTB hubs for E-MTB use
without exception.

If you choose VONOA spokes in your Phase wheels, you will have our Fade CS hub at the
center of your wheel. This hub is adapted to work perfectly with the carbon spokes.
We were able to reduce the weight of the hub body even further while using the same,
proven technology inside the hub.

LIGHT, BASE, STRONG, DH?

To give you the perfect fit, we developed four rim variations: light, base, strong and DH. While the rim profile stays the same, the wall thickness changes. This enables you to save some weight on the
less stressed front wheel while having a stronger back wheel.
So if you are looking for wheels for your Trailbike for instance, we would recommend a light / base combination.

During the development of the new generation of rims, we carried out impact tests and FEM analyses on over 30 different rim profile prototypes. This resulted in an highly dent resistant rim profile.
At the same time, the rim profiles are as flat as possible in order to generate a lot of grip and comfort in combination with modern MTB tires.

VONOA SPOKES

Once there was a spoke. It was made of steel, worked fine but was heavy. Then our engineers came along and wondered, how we could do it better. The VONOA spokes where born and took the streets by
Storm. They are awesome. Why?

1. They are light. We save around 40% weight compared to conventional spokes.
2. They are super strong. All VONOA spokes have 4.500 N tensile strengths.
3. They are stiff. VONOA spokes travel way less, allowing us to use fewer spokes.
4. They are replaceable. Broke a spoke? No worries!
