Durable, modern aluminum wheels for a fair price. The Forge wheels are our high-entry wheels, ready for every kind of trail. The 30 millimeter wide, hooked rims are made of high-quality aluminium, have a sleeved joint and are combined with Sapim Race spokes and our proven Fade MTB Hub.

As with all our MTB wheels, we follow the principle, low weight in the front, high durability in the back. This allows us to build the perfect set of wheels for every riding style. Consequently, the Forge wheels come in four variations to give you the best possible ride.

Because we know they can take it, all Forge wheels are approved for E-Bike use. The rim tape is mounted and a tubeless kit comes with the wheels, they are ready for you!

The Rim

Maximum dent resistance, low weight and a fair price.

The Forge rim uses the proven rim profile that we have carefully developed for our MTB wheels. Testing over 30 different rim profiles with impact test and FEM analyses, resulted in the best rim profile we have ever developed.

An inner width of 30 millimetres allows low air pressures and the enormous dent resistance - thanks to the further optimized flared rim flanks - prepares the lightweight rim for every adventure. With the flat rim profile and hooked rim design the rims work perfectly with modern MTB tires, generating a ton of grip and comfort.

We follow the principle low weight in the front, high durability in the back. This is why we developed four versions of the Forge rim: light, base, strong and DH. While the rim profile stays the same, the wall thickness changes. By combining the different rim versions, we can offer a wheelset tailored to your riding style.

The Spokes

Spokes you don´t need to worry about.

Reliable, easy to service and not too heavy. With the Sapim Race Spokes you can enjoy the ride and even if something is to happen, they are quickly serviced or replaced. Depending on the intended use, the Forge wheels roll either with 28 or 32 spokes, giving you the best ride for every situation.

The Hub

Reliable, light and silent.

Three pawls, a newly designed tooth profile and the large diameter of the freewheel are working perfectly together to give you a smooth and silent ride. More material at the critical points enhances security and durability.

We are so convinced of our new FADE hub generation that we have approved all FADE MTB hubs for E-MTB use without exception.

LIGHT, BASE, STRONG, DH?

To give you the perfect fit, we developed four rim variations: light, base, strong and DH. While the rim profile stays the same, the wall thickness changes. This enables you to save some weight on the less stressed front wheel while having a stronger back wheel.
So if you are looking for wheels for your Trailbike for instance, we would recommend a light / base combination.

During the development of the new generation of rims, we carried out impact tests and FEM analyses on over 30 different rim profile prototypes. This resulted in an highly dent resistant rim profile. At the same time, the rim profiles are as flat as possible in order to generate a lot of grip and comfort in combination with modern MTB tires.
